Eddie Murphy and Coming To America 2 Is Finally Coming Soon


It would seem that Coming to America 2 may really be occurring people. A continuation of the 1988 raving success satire has been underway for a couple of years now.

First released in 1988, the first Coming to America featured Murphy as an African prince who takes off to the United States masked as an average citizen, wanting to discover love.

"After numerous long periods of expectations, I'm excited that Coming to America 2 is formally pushing ahead," Murphy said in an announcement. "We've gathered an incredible group that will be driven by Craig Brewer, who simply worked admirably on Dolemite, and I'm anticipating bringing all these work of art and dearest characters back to the widescreen."

The expectation is to begin shooting at some point in 2019, which would be welcome news to the two fanatics of the first and Murphy himself, who has been attempting to get the film off the ground for some time.
